Games of up to 20 players are free, as many as you like. For an event with more guests, an Event Pass makes every game your team hosts bigger, for 24 hours.
| Plan | Players in each game | Price |
|---|---|---|
| Free | 20 | Free |
| Event Pass Starter | 100 | ฿299 for 24 hours |
| Event Pass Standard | 300 | ฿599 for 24 hours |
| Event Pass Pro | 1,000 | ฿999 for 24 hours |
Prices are in Thai baht. They are launch prices: they may go up later, but never for a pass you have bought. There is no subscription, and nothing renews. See Pricing for more.
Buy a pass
Owners buy passes for their team:
- In the Studio, open Plan.
- Under Buy an Event Pass, choose the day and the hour the pass starts, and its size.
- Press Pay. On Beam Checkout's secure page, pay with PromptPay, a card or mobile banking.
- Beam brings you back to the Studio, which says when the pass is ready, usually within a few seconds.
Everyone in the team sees its passes on the Plan page, and anyone who hosts a game while a pass lasts gets its bigger limit. The Payments list, which owners see, has every payment and its state.
When a pass starts, and what it covers
A pass starts on the hour you choose, in Thai time, from the current hour up to a year ahead, and lasts 24 hours. An evening party that runs past midnight needs one pass.
- Every game in those hours. A game whose lobby opens while the pass lasts can have up to its players: rehearsals and second rounds included.
- Scheduled games. A game scheduled for a time the pass covers can have its players too, if you open its lobby from 6 hours before its range until the range is over. Opened earlier, it can have as many players as your team can when you open it.
- A game keeps its limit. A game that runs past the end of the pass isn't cut off.
- Small games don't need it. A game of up to 20 players is free, with or without a pass.
- Its games come first. When the servers are busy, a team's games go ahead of free ones while its pass lasts, small ones too, and if a server stops, they move to another one first. A free game may have to wait for room.
Before you open a lobby or schedule a game, the Studio says which pass it will use, or that it needs none. If your pass hasn't started yet, it says when it will.
Move a pass
Until a pass starts, an owner can change when it starts: on the Plan page, press Change time beside the pass, choose the new day and hour, and press Save. The new start can be any hour from now to a year after you bought the pass, as long as its 24 hours don't overlap another of your passes.
Once a pass starts, it counts as used, whether or not a game is played, and it stays at its time. A scheduled game opened before its pass starts, from 6 hours before its range, uses the pass early, and then the pass stays at its time too.
A pass can't move away from a game scheduled in its hours that needs it. Lower that game's player limit, or change its time, first.
Make a pass bigger
Expecting more guests? On the Plan page, choose a start within your pass's 24 hours and a bigger size: you pay only the difference, and the pass keeps its time. For example, making an Event Pass Standard into a Pro costs ฿999 less the ฿599 the Standard cost. You can do this even while the pass is in use.
A game keeps the player limit it opened with, so open a new game to use the bigger limit.
A payment being checked
If Beam's page says you paid, but the Studio says Being checked, the payment came through but didn't match the order: for example, the pass's 24 hours were over by the time it came through. Your passes stay as they were, and the TarmTorb team will be in touch to sort it out. You can also contact us.
