TarmTorbYou need only a phone with a web browser: there is no app to install, and LINE’s browser works too.
Join
- With a PIN: open play.tarmtorb.com and type the six-digit PIN on the big screen.
- With the QR code: scan it with your phone’s camera.
- With a link: tap the link the organizer shared, for example in a LINE group.
Then choose a nickname, or take the one the game gives you. To stand out on the big screen, tap Pick an emoji and choose one, with the color behind it: it shows next to your name, and your phone remembers it for the next game. Without one, you get the first letter of your name. Some games ask for a few details first, such as your name for the prizes: you see what they are for, and you agree before you join.
If the game hasn’t opened yet, the page shows the range of time it starts in. Keep it open: you can join as soon as the host opens the lobby.
The game is in Thai. To read it in English, use the language switch at the top of the page: your phone remembers the choice. Everyone in the game can use a different language.
Play
Each question appears on your phone. Tap your answer, or type it. The faster you answer, the more points you get. After each question, you see whether you were right and where you are on the leaderboard.
Your phone plays a sound with each answer and result. The speaker button at the top of the game turns the sounds off.
If something goes wrong
- You lost your connection. Keep the page open: it reconnects by itself, and you keep your score.
- You changed phones, or the page forgot you. Ask the host for a rejoin code, and enter it on the join page.
- The game says it is full or closed. The game may have reached its player limit, or the host has stopped new players from joining.
Something harmful in a game?
Tap Report at the top of the game, choose what is wrong, and send it. It goes straight to the TarmTorb team, and the organizer doesn’t learn who sent it.
